This class combines the core strength, control and precision of Pilates with the positions, moves, grace and technique of ballet. The combined elements fuse to form a challenging and motivating workout, which stretches and sculpts the muscles.

The floor component of this class incorporates Rhythm Pilates – all the strength of traditional mat work Pilates exercises choreographed to music ensuring continuous and flowing movement. The inclusion of props adds variety and continued challenge.

Modifications for each exercise ensure that this class is suitable for all fitness levels.

This class incorporates traditional Pilates mat work exercises adapted for modern-day postural weakness and muscular restrictions. Utilising powerful release and activation techniques to provide immediate relief and access to muscle groups that tend to be inactive and weak whilst allowing overactive muscle groups to return to a normal state.

When muscles are out of balance, they can pull your bones and joints out of their normal position which places them under uneven stress and strain. Muscle imbalances are the most common cause of lower back pain, aches and pains, poor posture and even low energy. TRX EXPRESS

HIGH-INTENSITY TRAINING

TRX is a form of training that uses bodyweight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of theTRX suspension trainer which leverages gravity and the users body weight to perform the exercises to improve both cardio and strength. In 45 minutes you will work every muscle group in every plane of motion with intensity easily adjusted to suit the individual.

HIGH-INTENSITY WORKOUT

Mobility and core focused workout combines yoga and pilates inspired movements on the TRX suspension trainer. The TRX provides added leverage for more advanced participants whilst also providing greater stability for those who are less mobile or new to this style of movement. Flowing sequences, both relaxing and energising, promote a range of motion, flexibility and activation

of the deep stabilisers of the spine and pelvis. As this is a space limited class, please arrive promptly to avoid disappointment.
